Diamante Poems

This term we are learning about poetry.  One of the best parts of this is that we get to write lots of poems!
Diamante poems have a set structure, and this means that they are in the shape of diamond.  Check out some examples.

Whale
Huge, friendly
Spraying, gliding, calling
Strong, slimy...furry, dirty
Scurrying, scratching, chasing
Sly, small
Rat.
Bella H

Dragon
Angry, fiery
Flying, soaring, breathing
Scaly, evil...white, double-headed
Trotting, eating, grazing
Calm, Egyptian
Push-me-pull-you.
